We collect information that helps us provide, maintain, secure, and improve OraOrb. The categories may include:

  • Optional profile information: birth date, birth time, birth city, or similar details if you choose to use astrology-inspired or birth-chart-inspired features.
  • Conversation and reflection content: messages, journal entries, ritual responses, feedback, uploaded notes, and voice transcripts if you use voice features.
  • Media you choose to upload: photos, videos, audio, or other materials you voluntarily add to reflections or app features.
  • Device and hardware information: Orb device identifiers, pairing status, connection logs, battery status, firmware version, button events, and diagnostic data.
  • Payment and transaction information: subscription status, order details, transaction identifiers, refunds, and tax/shipping records. Payment card or wallet details are processed by third-party payment processors and are not stored by us in full.
  • Website and usage information: log data, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and interaction events.

3. How we use information

  • To provide and personalize OraOrb, the Ora App, hardware pairing, app access, and customer support.
  • To generate AI companion responses, reflections, ritual cards, and app experiences you request.
  • To operate subscriptions, orders, billing, refunds, warranty support, and service communications.
  • To maintain safety, prevent misuse, moderate harmful content, and enforce our policies.
  • To improve product quality, reliability, accessibility, and user experience.
  • To comply with legal obligations, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements.

4. AI providers and model training

Ora uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate responses and reflections. We may send relevant portions of your input and context to AI service providers to produce the experience you request. We take steps to limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for the service.

We do not sell your personal conversations. We do not use your personal conversations to train third-party foundation models unless we clearly disclose that practice and obtain any consent required by law. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information to improve safety, quality, and product experience.

5. Sharing information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, AI processing, analytics, customer support, email, security, payments, tax, shipping, and warranty service providers.

You can choose not to provide optional information, but some features may not work as intended without it. For example, birth-chart-inspired prompts require birth details you voluntarily provide.

When you request deletion, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information, subject to legal, security, backup, or dispute-resolution requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

OraOrb is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
